About Employment Options

A Welcome from Toni Wolf, Executive Director

Toni Wolf, Executive Director

As we continue to grow and expand our services, we here at Employment Options have enhanced our belief in the power of partnerships. We see it here on many levels throughout our organization.

We start with Options Clubhouse, a partnership model where individuals with mental illness, correctly identified as members, play a critical role in the overall operation and governance of Options. As you walk into the Options Clubhouse, you will see people working side by side: staff and members partnering to get the needs of the day accomplished. Together, we are also embarking on wellness initiatives and have begun to partner with Advocates Inc., to expand fitness, exercise, wellness education and coaching with our members and staff.

Family Options, the only program in Massachusetts focusing on parental mental health is a collaborative partnership with University of Massachusetts Medical School, and AstraZeneca. Together, we are redefining the standards of treating mental illnesses by combining adult and child services to work with the family as one unit in a strength based approach. Family Options has begun to change the paradigm by changing the way services are traditionally provided. Family Options has also been receiving requests for training and consultation nationally from other state mental health authorities and child welfare systems, and internationally, reflecting the broad base of interest in this issue and our activities.

So again we have been fortunate to acquire a new partner, the Health Care Foundation of Central Massachusetts which has supported our efforts this year to develop a technical and consultation arm to help others interested in supporting families. A very successful partnership that we have experienced over the last seven years, is our Clubhouse Family Legal Project, a partnership with Mental Health Legal Advisors Committee, funded in partnership by the Department of Mental Health and the Massachusetts Bar Foundation. This project aligns our efforts providing a full range of services for families with parental mental health. We continue to partner with the Metro South West Regional Employment Board, Chamber of Commerce, Career Centers and Medway Manor and Blaire House to develop career pathways in the Healthcare Industry. We are eager to expand our efforts in workforce development within the MetroWest area.

Lastly, we continue to grow thanks to dedicated staff and Board of Directors who continue to partner with us to advocate for new initiatives and support and acknowledge the importance of attracting new partner resources.

We have learned the power in partnerships!

Our Culture

Employment Options respects diversity in terms of sex, age, race, religion and disabilities. We believe cultural diversity captures the essence of an organization.

Employment Options' staff and members hail from Brazil, France, India, Vietnam, and China. They weave their cultural heritage into our organization's vision, to surpass territorial and cultural boundaries, and to come together to work as proud Americans.

Each person on our staff and membership is respected as an individual and each of their global perspectives are honored. This helps our agency grow and interact with the various populations we work with.
